| I can't traceroute using Windows tracert program? The Windows tracert.exe program uses 92 byte ICMP packets to conduct its trace. Sadly this is virtually identical to the still-virulent Nachi Worm and this type of packet is specifically blocked on all of our border routers, making the tracert.exe program unusable. You can use our own Traceroute tool to conduct traces from our network. If you need to run a trace from your home connection, the only alternative is to use a UDP Based traceroute program such as the NecroSoft Traceroute tool, or any Linux/Unix based traceroute utility will still work. Only the Windows version of traceroute is effected by this filter.
