Our modem pools then were using what was, at the time, state of the art 14.4K and 28.8K modems on standard POTS telephone lines. The technology has changed a lot since 1994, but Avvanta still remains committed to providing outstanding Dialup & Email services. The Fine Print
- Unlimited Usage is defined as a person actively using a connection. Using any unattended or automated methods to maintain a connection is prohibited. Session and idle timers are used to ensure modem availability for customers, immediate reconnection is possible.
- MyMail and MyWeb accounts do not include any network access. Access to these accounts must be performed via an existing Internet connection.
- Includes dialup access from any available access number within the United States. Only one connection is allowed per user name at a time.
- Personal Domains may not be used for commercial purposes.
