The last of the wrinkles that cropped up during the recent transition to Giganews (new owners of Supernews) appear to have been ironed out. We've also added a micro guide for NNTP configuration in the Setup Guides section.
With a binary retention of 200 days and a text retention of 1,754 days the Giganews service should meet even the most demanding of needs.
As a reminder, those subscribed to groups prior to the change-over will need to unsubscribe and then resubscribe to those groups to reset your article IDs. (All of the article IDs changed when the service switched) If you encounter any new issues with the service please let us know.
